Happy 4th on the 3rd!

Since I'm not going to be in town tomorrow, and won't have access to a computer, I'm going to say to all Americans like myself: "HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!!" To everyone who isn't American, don't flame me for being Patriotic and loving my country. Sure, I don't agree with many things: George Bush's policies in general, the war, Obama the democratic nominee. (I wish Hilary Clinton got it.) But I still would not live anywhere else. Visit, of course, but not live.

Got a weird E-Mail today, and I'm not sure if it was real or not. It was from a lawyer who represented a "Mr. Sage" who was apparently a very rich guy whose whole family died in a car accident. So, he had been looking for next of kin to inherit this man's $10.5 million assets. But couldn't find any. And, since I have the 'same last name' as the dude, I could get a share. No, my last name is NOT Sage... Unless you go by my internet name...

Light Eco Sage.

Sorry to disappoint you, but my first name is not 'Light'. It's Ashley. My middle name is not 'Eco' and my last name not 'Sage'. As much as I would love to get a share of $10.5 million, I believe that accepting it on this basis would be fraud. I don't want to go to jail. I'm a legal adult and would be tried as such, and go to a 'federal pound-me-in-the-ass' prison.

So... this Sage is not $10.5 million dollars richer.

I'd accept it!!!!!, but only if it didn't sound funny, then I'd write back some smartass e-mail back.

I can't wait for tomorrow... Fireworks gallore in my opinion. The bigger the better and the more the longer it will last and then I don't have to listen to screaming little munchkins. *goes into corner and cries*

I didn't even take the time to read to see if it asked for a back account or my pin number. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably it is.
I've watched too many 20/20's about people getting screwed by sending money to people they don't know to get a large amount back.

I would never accept an offer over the internet unless it was someone that I knew. I didn't know this lawyer. This "Mr. Sage" lived half-way across the world. And no doubt if this lawyer found out that Light Eco Sage was a screen name and not my real name, and I still accepted the money, you would not see me around on the internet for a long time.
I'd rather see the money get put to good use than squandered by some moron using Sage as a last name. Hell, that money could feed the Middle East for 20 years!
